Micro/Nano Electronics Research at the University of Tennessee
Recent advances in micro/nano-fabrication have led to further development of highly complex functional devices and integrated circuits with significantly reduced power dissipation. Researchers at the Analog VLSI and Devices Research Laboratory at the University of Tennessee have been working on the development of low-power smart sensor technology for environmental monitoring and biomedical applications. The talk will present some of the recent projects in the areas of analog/mixed-signal/rf integrated circuits and monolithic sensors. In addition, some recent projects on wide bandgap semiconductor devices, device modeling, high-temperature electronics, molecular electronics, energy scavenging, inductive power coupling and carbon nano-materials will also be presented.
